The Company is a professionally managed family owned company.  Dr. C. K. Mavani, M.Sc., Ph.D. and Mr. A. C. Mavani B. Chem. Engg. A.M.I.Che. E, started business in 1971 with an objective of solving the burning maintenance problems of Indian Industries by way of Specialty Lubricants.

Late 60’s witnessed a shortage of Specialty Lubricants. Proposals from few industries propelled Dr. C. K. Mavani to start a manufacturing unit in India to offer import substitute products.

The company started with the manufacturing of Specialty Lubricants based on Moly and Graphite with indigenous R & D activities.  Later on in 1974, the company introduced Silicone based lubricants for the only Aircraft manufacturer in India.  It was a major breakthrough for the company to get TYPE APPROVAL for Indian products of Moly and Graphite base lubricants against the Russian Specifications.

In 1980 the company introduced for the first time in India Synthetic Lubricants based on various esters, Glycols and other Synthetic functional fluids with indigenous technology.  The company always looks forward in technological advancement for updating the requirements of new products to incorporate the developments in Synthetic base oils.
